The victim flagged down the car after a night out in Soho but soon realised she was being driven the wrong way.
The car pulled up in Wicklow Street and the woman tried to escape but the doors were locked. Two men got in the back of the car and raped the woman while the driver watched.
At the end of the ordeal the woman was dragged from the car and left in King's Cross.
Police are looking for three men of Mediterranean appearance in connection with the attack. Two are aged around 30 and the third, the driver, is 50.
The attack happened between 11pm and 11.30pm on Monday October 24.
